About the Old Timers of Camp Pioneer

Founded in 1977, the Old Timers of Camp Pioneer is a nationally recognized volunteer organization dedicated to the betterment of Camp Pioneer and Scouting. Its membership consist mainly of former and current campers, Scouters, and Staff Members of Camp Pioneer. Among its many camp improvement projects are the Old Timers' Chapel, the Scoutmaster's Shack, the Old Timers's Museum, and scores of other projects throughout the camp. Its members volunteer thousands of hours building and maintaining these projects, and as staff for summer camp, winter camp, camporees, and OA functions. Proceeds from Old Timers fundraisers and merchandise sales (t-shirts, patches, etc.) are used to fund camp improvement projects.
